Trending routes share certain characteristics: dramatic high-altitude scenery, achievable grades for fit non-technical trekkers, and a sense of genuine discovery that over-trekked Himalayan circuits in Nepal can no longer offer. Pakistan's trekking infrastructure has grown to meet demand — more registered guides, better camp equipment, and improved trail information — while the trails themselves remain refreshingly uncrowded compared with the Annapurna or Everest regions.
